pembroke moreland -- late
late (released 2003)

it took pembroke more than a year and 1/2 to record and master “late” (his newest album),but the time and energy spent has made this a rich, strong sophomore effort. backed by such notable hoosier musicians as gordon bonham, jamey reid, dan dolan, jan aldridge clark, jim richter, jeff chapin, and paul holdman, pembroke masterfully presents a range of songs spanning from common living (“gracious life”) to the political (“children in the madness”) to outright whimsy (“alice the chicken”). the combination of heart-felt vocals, well-crafted lyrics, and an ensemble of “a-list” musicians helps “late” be right on time.
